Hello everyone!

Thanks for taking time out of your day to visit my blog. I will update here at least once a week.

I started a new diet last week, or should I stay a new lifestyle!? Am I right?

Before we get too far, lets start from the beginning:

In January 2017, my son was diagnosed with Duchenne, Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This is no surprise because I already have 12 other boys in my family with this disease. He has so many check-up appointments a year with Cardiology, Pulmonary, Neuro-Muscular, Radiology, Physical Therapy, and the list goes on.
In the past 2 years I have lost my confidence and feel like a failure. About six months ago I was referred to a Nutritionist for my son. We were told kids with DMD develop muscle weakness first affecting the muscles of the hips, pelvic area, thighs and shoulders, then later arms, legs and trunk.

I love eating! Food is the number one thing on my mind when I wake up until I go to bed. I eat so many unhealthy things that can affect my son's health in the future... So what do I do? I cleaned out my fridge and added nutrition foods, snacks and drinks.
